EDIT: To answer a lot of your comments, Purple Pikmin were recently added to Version 1.2 , but are not in version 1.1 and 1.0 of this mod. Additionally, I apologise if the trailer came across as bitter towards the caves. If you like the caves, then more power to you and I'm very glad you like them. This mod is designed to be similar to Pikmin 1 and as such, I thought it was important to outline some issues I and other PIkmin 1 and 3 fans have with Pikmin 2. With that said, I should have articulated my points in a much better and less spiteful manner.

Pikmin 2: Caveless Edition is a brand-new mod of Pikmin 2, which redesigns the story mode of Pikmin 2 to remove all of the caves and keep the design and style similar to Pikmin 1 and 3. There are numerous changes to the gameplay and level design to suit this new playstyle, including White Pikmin having their own onions (credit to PikHacker for the Purple and White Onions mod), different enemies and bosses on the overworld and a completely redesigned progression. It’s up to you and your squad of Pikmin to collect all 51 treasures scattered across the four overworlds. Credits included in the download below.
