Returning contenders like 450cc sophomore Josh Grant, 450cc MX rookies Ryan Dungey and Brett Metcalfe, Justin Brayton, Mike Alessi, Ivan Tedesco, Andrew Short, Michael Byrne, Davi Millsaps, 2007 250cc Motocross runner-up Ben Townley, and defending champ Chad Reed battle it out for the 2010 Lucas Oil 450cc AMA Pro Motocross Championship. This season is dominated by Suzuki rookie Ryan Dungey. Old friend and former ESPN2 pit reporter Davey Coombs of Racer X substitutes for Jason Weigandt in the booth after Weege enjoys his first moments of fatherhood to a baby girl.
