Pocket watch by Breguet watch sold in 1838.
The Breguet house confirmed the sale of the watch at 12 April of 1838 to Mr. Meniel.
This watch has typical Breguet series III watch design, featuring:
- Breguet proper ruby cylinder escapement
- parachute antishock and bi-metallic thermal compensation
- case, combining silver and gold (solid gold front, back and dust covers, silver base).
- quarter repeating driven with push button that can be pulled out of the case.
The keyless winding is a later modification to the watch.
