Our (2) piece Mertailor Partial Silicone Mermaid Tail is the perfect option for those who enjoy mermaiding, but sometimes just enjoy swimming with a monofin. A complete mermaid tail when assembled, the Mertailor Monofin Flipper is easily removed from the upper skin by slipping it around the attached elastic strap which helps keep it in place. Custom made to fit, the Partial Silicone Mermaid Tail can be designed with optional ornamental fins and your choice of color combinations. Tails are colored using our special pigmentation process with a wide variety of metallic and iridescent colors. Choose from one of our standard single/two tone colors darkened at the edges or choose the custom color option and create the mertail of your dreams. Designs and colors will vary slightly.
The body of this realistic tail is created using platinum, skin safe silicone, adhered to a stretchy liner material. Silicone offers more options than other rubber materials. Completely safe to wear, the Partial Silicone Tail offers an amazingly realistic 3-dimensional scale pattern on the body. Extremely durable, the comfort of the Partial Silicone Tail is enhanced by the poly spandex blend liner with durable water repellent (DWR) coating. The detachable Mertailor Monofin Flipper, also constructed from the finest platinum grade silicone, propels the swimmer swiftly through the water. The integrated silicone foot pocket features a comfortable, quick-release neoprene velcro strap for safety. If you have chosen the custom color option for your Partial Silicone Tail, the flipper with be colored to match or, if you have chosen one of our standard colors, it will be colored accordingly. The Mertailor Monofin Flipper accommodates most shoe sizes. Neoprene foot socks can be worn to accommodate smaller foot sizes.
