Poland has begun moving over 1,000 troops to its eastern borders on July 8, amid fears over the Wagner Group’s presence in Belarus. Poland’s move comes amid reports that mercenaries from Russia’s Wagner Group are preparing to move to Belarus. The exact whereabouts of the Wagner Chief Yevgeny Prigozhin and his mercenaries have been been a mystery for days. An unnamed Pentagon official told The New York Times that Prigozhin may not have gone to Belarus at all.
