Catholic Charities maintains its right to discriminate against gay and lesbian couples, a position we find unreasonable. The Rainbow Sash Movement believes that any organization that receives state funding must serve all residents of Illinois equally, and should not be allowed to discriminate against same sex couples in the name of religious dogma. This mentality was used against racially mixed couples in an earlier time.
