Trolling motors are an excellent addition to any kayak setup and provide an efficient way to travel around your lake or estuary. After much deliberation I decided to fit a 40lb Minn Kota trolling motor on my Native Titan. This motor was fitted to a previous kayak of mine. This time I decided I would use a wireless remote control you can find on Amazon or Aliexpress!
I’m using a Hobbywing 880 Brushed ESC to manager motor power consumption for maximum efficiency.
I made a custom mounting bracket specially for my motors existing modifications because the bracket available online just wouldnt do the job.
I run all FPV Power batteries, connectors and battery monitor for the ultimate in reliability and performance under tough conditions.
