●Where is Hewbonn bamboo toilet paper made?
Our toilet paper is made in China. The bamboo itself is grown in protected and renewable, naturally grown forests in Southwestern China.
●Is your manufacturer ISO, FSC or other certified?
Yes, our manufacturer has obtained ISO and FSC Chain of Custody certification, also with BSCI.
●Is your packaging compostable?
Yes! Our packaging is 100% compostable or recyclable. The dyes used on our packaging are water based.
●Are you plastic free?
We are! Being plastic-free was one of the main goals we had when starting this business and through some creative packaging and great partners we were able to achieve it!
●Is your paper bleached?
Yes, we whiten our rolls using elemental chlorine-free (ECF) bleaching technology. Domestically, ECF bleaching is recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as being the “Best Available Technology” to bleach paper products.
