Kattikkayam Waterfalls is a beautiful waterfall situated between two mountains in Mechal near Melukavu in Kottayam district, Kerala.Kattikkayam Falls is situated in Mechal, a diversion of Erattupetta – Thodupuzha road near Melukavu. Kattikkayam Falls is 25 km away from Thodupuzha and 18 km away from Erattupetta.Viewing Waterfalls by a small trek is a major attraction in Kattikkayam. Bathing is permitted here.Waterfalls can be reach by 1 km trekking upwards from Mechal or downwards from Pazhukkakanam Tea shops are available in Mechal. Nearest petrol pumps are located at Erattupetta, Melukavu and Muttom.If you have enough time plan a trekk to Ilaveezhapunchira located near by or to Illikkal Kallu.
