Cannondale's Synapse is a popular bike in the endurance and sportive road bike market, and for 2018 it has been completely updated. I've been riding it for the past few weeks and these are my first impressions on the new bike.

It might look the same as the previous model, but the frame is actually all-new. It's lighter, stiffer and provides more comfort, has space for wider tyres, features mudguard (fender) eyelets and is built entirely around disc brakes with 12mm thru-axles.

This is the top-of-the-range Dura-Ace Di2 model with Hollowgram cranks and carbon wheels, Fabric saddle and Enve handlebar and stem. The Synapse 2018 range is wide and there are plenty of cheaper models to choose from.
