Thavala adai or thavalai adai is a traditional snack made in Tamil nadu, super crispy and filling snack or even you can have it as breakfast/ dinner.

Use healthy fat oils like sesame oil or coconut oil. Enjoy with idli milagai podi or tangy chutneys/ mango thokku.
Thavala adai ingredients:
1 cup idli rice
1/2 cup toor dal
1/4 cup chana dal
1 tbsp moong dal
5 red chilli
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt as needed
Oil as needed
To temper
2 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard
1 tbsp ginger
1/8 tsp Asafoetida
1 Sprig curry leaves
Limit yourself with one or two as it is bit heavy.
