Former Bafana Bafana striker Siyabonga "Bhele" Nomvethe remains one of the most influential strikers the country has produced.
The KwaMashu-born striker still holds the record as PSL top scorer with 123 goals.
During his time as a footballer, he played for various teams locally and internationally, including Kaizer Chiefs, Moroka Swallows and Italian outfit Udinese.
Nomvethe retired in 2018 and shortly after that he started his soccer coaching career at Amazulu FC.
He served as the assistant coach to Benni McCarthy during the 2020/21 season where they guided Usuthu to their highest league finish and secured a spot in the CAF Champions League.
As we wrap up our 30 years of democracy feature on Morning Live, we are joined by "Bhele" Nomvethe virtually to tell us about his football journey.
