Being a native of Las Vegas, Steve Darnell, founder of WelderUp, was finding it very hard to see the energy of Las Vegas fade due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As he drove the vacant strip completely alone, he felt a great need to send a message of hope. He reached out to Michael Gaskell, Director + DP of MG Studio, a local production company, and expressed his thoughts and feelings. The two then collaborated with Kyle Creek aka “The Captain”, creative director, to help finalize the concept. The end result is this video titled “Recharge Vegas”. Although we know it cannot be rushed, we are looking forward to a “safe” reopening of Las Vegas. We at WelderUp are in great anticipation of the energy and excitement of Las Vegas to return. Viva Las Vegas!
