W79978 operating southbound, out of Blunsdon, on Saturday 6th April 2024. The Swindon & Cricklade Railway had a weekend event commemorating 60 years since the closure of the nearby Tetbury and Cirencester branches. Of course, Swindon allocated railbus, such as this, were tried on the branch, but alas, couldn't save them. Good to luck to the owners who are restoring this fine, quirky, vehicle.
