I previously made a series on constructing aircraft in Kerbal Space Program and with the update to the MK2 Aircraft parts it seemed like I could do a little follow up on how to construct VTOL Aircraft.

Building aircraft capable of operation in horizontal and vertical flight requires you to account for the way fuel will flow, and to build the vehicle around its center or mass to make sure that it doesn't flip out of control as soon as you try to take off.
