Schrems is the founder of Europe v Facebook; Author of “Kämpf um deine Daten and Private
Videoüberwachung” (“Fight for your Data and Private Video Surveillance Law”). In ‘Schrems v. Data Protection Commissioner’ he has succeeded in his challenge against the “Safe Harbor” system at the European Court of Justice. Based on the disclosures of Edward Snowden the European Court of Justice has invalidated “Safe Harbor” in October 2015.
