Enjoy a very soothing walk in the countryside of Trás-os-Montes, the most northern district of Portugal. Far north in a mountainous area of the country, Trás-os-Montes was known for being difficult to get to, with sinuous roads and hours of travel to withstand. In recent years, roads have been redesigned, and highways have been constructed, making this area much more accessible to visitors. Its beauty is quite surprising, with its stunning mountains and rivers - Douro River is one of them, creating what is know as the Douro Wine Region Valley, where steeply sloping terraced vineyards cover some 24,600 ha (UNESCO - Alto Douro Wine Region).
On this Zen Walk, you'll see olive trees fields, and a big vineyard land at the end. During the walk, ASMR sounds of footsteps on different types of soils, along with beautiful birds sounds and a warming bright morning sun, make this walk a very special one.
