As the second politician of August, we are talking about another mayor, who is almost as loved as Antonio Decaro, the one we talked about last week. Though for entirely different reasons. Anyway, his name is Cateno De Luca, mayor of Messina, Sicily.
De Luca was very famous in Sicily not only for his criminal record but also for his weird approach to politics.
Cateno became famous around Italy because of his drones during quarantine, in fact De Luca was so invested by the idea of punishing people leaving their homes that he decided to buy an army of drones with camera and speakers, that would fly around town and play his voice recordings. He would then personally stalk people in the streets.
