A COVID-positive woman who arrived in Sydney from South Africa on Saturday is set to the confirmed as New South Wales’ fifth case of the Omicron variant.
Health authorities say initial testing strongly indicates she has been infected with the new strain.
The woman had been in the community while infectious, prompting NSW Health to issue a lengthy list of exposure sights.
