In this episode of The Urban Debate, anchor Shreya Dhoundial will discuss how the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Security Forces team were ambushed in Bengal's North 24 Parganas, where they had gone to raid the residence of Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Sheikh in the ration fraud case. Several media cars at the scene were also vandalized during the incident. The raid on the TMC leader was thwarted when Sheikh's followers fought the officials. West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose claimed the state is not a 'banana republic' and urged the administration to put an end to 'barbarism and vandalism' in the state.
