Memphis City Councilman Chase Carlisle joins host Eric Barnes and The Daily Memphian reporter Bill Dries to discuss the recent ice storm and its effects across the city, as well as plans for the Memphis City Council to review MLGW's response to the weather disaster. In addition, Carlisle talks about MLGW's research into a possible change in energy sources once their contract ends with TVA. Wrapping up, Carlisle speaks about local crime and the need to “triage the issue” of crime - providing resources and programs that aid in reducing/eliminating all aspects of what leads to the rise in Memphis’ crime rate.
