Part 1 deals with the definition of the Laplace Transform and the Final Value Theorem. The theory is applied in finding the value of the improper INTEGRAL of exp ( - t^2 ) = sqrt( Pi) /2 to show another method in obtaining the value besides direct integration.
The inversion integral is discussed as well as finding the Laplace Transform of exp(- t^2). Future videos applying Laplace Transforms to differential equations and electrical circuits is discussed at the end of the video.
