Petter 6.5 hp one cylinder air cooled diesel engine. Running from a cold start. About 30* F (0* C) here today, 12/25/11. A shot of oil per instructions and off it goes. This has been in storage since having last run in mid September, 2011. It is equipped with electric start and charging system. This engine was used in a construction site flashing arrow sign. The sign was scrapped after being struck by an auto. The engine did not get hurt. Petter AC1 engines are very dependable and will start just as easily cold as warm if you follow the instructions. NEVER use ether or starting fluid on a diesel!! It kills them very easily.
