My favourite way to propagate begonia is through leaf propagation! Here’s how I do it:
1) Snip or pinch off begonia leaves (I do this when I need to prune a bushy plant). You can keep a bit of stem on the leaf if you want but it’s not necessary.
2) Find a propagation vessel. I use whatever I have handy, this was a takeout box.
3) Full vessel with soil mix or pure perlite. I’m reusing perlite from another propagation box.
4) Mist the soil or perlite with water. (I forgot to film that part.)
5) Press the begonia leaves into the soil or perlite and close the vessel.
6) Place the whole thing near some bright light and soon baby plants will sprout from the leaves!
