Arjun Erigaisi played with the black pieces against Vladimir Fedoseev in their second game of the third round of the FIDE World Cup 2023. The first game had ended in a draw. Knowing what a strong player Fedoseev is it would be quite prudent to assume that the match would go into the tiebreaks if Arjun played carefully with the black pieces.
