The first stage of this years Tour de France pays homage to Eddy Merckx, starting and finishing in his home town of Brussels. The mythical Muur van Geraardsbergen and the Bosberg feature early in the stage but they’re unlikely to break up the peloton as they do in the Tour of Flanders.
