The Princes’ Islands (Kızıl Adalar or just Adalar) are a chain of nine rather small islands in the Sea of Marmara.
Büyükada(Adalar) is one of the most beautiful and largest Princes islands in Istanbul, which is visited by thousands of tourists weekly.Buyukada island is very relaxing and attractive for tourists.
You can enjoy seafood as well as Turkish food at sea side restaurants and enjoy the beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara.In Büyükada (Adalar) only electric vehicles are allowed.
During the summer months, the Princes' Islands are popular destinations for day trips from Istanbul. As there is almost no motor traffic on the Islands, the only transport being bicycles, horse, cart, and elecric buses. They are just a short ferry ride from different ferry lines of Istanbul around 30 minutes to one and half hour total journey.
