Olectra is a leader in electrical bus manufacturing in India. Being an ISO-9001:2008 certified company, its R & D Center is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India. Olectra has bagged an order of 2,100 electric buses worth  Rs 3,675 crore from the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport (BEST).  This is claimed to be the biggest order (Letter of Award) in Indian electric mobility history. 

EVEY Trans Private Limited (EVEY) has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from BEST. Our total fleet of 300 electric buses in Pune is the largest in the segment compared to any city in India. The company is confident of adding another 350 buses to Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) in the next few months. Maharashtra is leading the race among all the other competing states to electrify public transportation systems. Of the 958 electric buses running on Indian roads, 49% (476) are in Maharashtra – ahead by a large margin. These buses have already travelled about 23 million kilometers. Olectra Greentech, India's largest manufacturer of electric buses, is setting up the country's biggest electric bus factory on the outskirts of Hyderabad with a manufacturing capacity of 10,000 units, planning to grab a larger share of cleaner mobility incentivized by the government.
