The Operational Research (OR) Society in collaboration with Data Science for Social Good is holding a free workshop, ‘Better Insight, Better Decisions, Better Delivery’ to introduce its highly successful pro bono scheme. The workshop is being held as part of the OR Society's annual conference, being held online for the first time in its 62-year history.
OR is the use of scientific or mathematical methods to help organisations become more effective, and OR people apply their skills in business, government and academia.
Pro Bono OR was created to allow UK-based organisations in the third sector to benefit from OR consultancy at no cost. During its last eight years of operation, it has helped more than 120 charities, from tiny volunteer-only groups to household names. View some of our case studies here.
