Brahmatal is a frozen lake at height of 12,000 feet. 3 days Trek starts from Lohajung village, Uttarakhand which is the base camp at 7700 feet and first day trek will be to the Bekaltal Lake and campsite at a height of 9900 feet which will be frozen in winter. During the first day of the trek, forest section with Oak and Rhododendrons trees which are centuries old and covered with snow in the winter. The scenery cannot be explained in words. Hence, Brahmatal is famous trek in winter.

Next day trek will be to Brahmatal Lake/ Summit and it will be in vast open meadows covered with snow completely with breathtaking views of Nanda Ghunti and Trisul I & II and other Himalayan Mountains more than 20,000 feet in height.

Brahmatal is a total 24 KM trek and will take 5 days including journey to and from base camp Lohajung.
