Nahum 1:7 ~ The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him.
IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE
** On this side of heaven, EVERY day will have things in it that I will not prefer.
** Some days will be filled with much troublesome activity.
** But God is teaching to not throw away the sense of peace and well-being that is always available to me as His true child.
** I became His true child when I stopped trying to be the king of my life and of the world.
** God is God and I am not. He knows all things before they happen and He invites me to take refuge in His shadow.
{Dear Father, as I learned to interact with Your word daily and with my heart, I started to recognize Your voice. Your voice is the voice of love. Your voice is the voice of true peace. I am learning to speak Your words of truth and I am coming to know true freedom. I often feel the profound meaning of what David wrote in Psalm 8:3-4. Your care and love for me leaves me speechless and I pray that I can bring honor to You each day! In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.}
