This fascinating special topics course is open to current UBalt undergraduate, graduate and law students, students from other academic institutions, and to the general public.
The course will focus on how oligarchs think and make decisions, and how those decisions in turn lead to them being able dominate the global economy.
The 3-credit, 8-week, online, "Special Topics in Entrepreneurship: Oligarchs" course will run from June 5, 2023 - July 30, 2023. It will be a cross-listed for undergraduates (ENTR 497) and graduates (ENTR 797).
David Lingelbach is a professor of entrepreneurship at The University of Baltimore. He lived and worked in Russia from 1994 to 1999, where he served as president of Bank of America — Russia. Along with co-instructor Valentina Rodríguez Guerra, a Bogotá-based author, researcher, and graduate student, he is writing a book about oligarchs that will be the course's main text.
