Onboard TOM226 from Bristol International Airport to Sharm El Sheikh International, Egypt in December 2013. The 5 hour flight is here shortened to 20 minutes but it includes all the main events of the flight from boarding to disembarking.
The weather in Bristol was mad, the winds were rocking the plane and the rain was pouring down. But without any major delay we made it out of Bristol, departing off runway 27 *epic engine noise*, then heading across Europe toward Egypt. In the video you'll see a few airports including Munich, Germany and Thessaloniki, Greece.
The flight was perfect.Despite the cloudy takeoff, once we were in the cruise we got some magnificent clear skies, allowing us a view of the beautiful Alps. Then as we began over descent we got some nice views of communities on the ground in Egypt. Shortly after that, the sun started to set, with it came an absolutely fantastic sunset. Check out the colour of the engine with the sun shining on it! Moments later we flew over some mountains which provided for a stunning approach in to Sharm El Sheikh (HESH/SSH). Thankfully we made it just in time to have enough light left for a decent landing clip.
