Various C47 troop transport aircraft at North Weald Airfield, that have flown in from across the U.K. and USA to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings on the 6th June 1944, and to honour the input of the airborne parachute troops that dropped into France on the early hours of the 6th June. This video includes spitfire flybys and the cockpit view of some of the C47 Dakota aircraft - including a view of walking through the cabin of a D Day Veteran C47 Dakota that dropped soldiers of the 82 airborne regiment of the US Army on the morning of the 6th June, 1944. This aircraft - drag em oot - is based at north weald, United Kingdom, where the HBO series, Band of Brothers, was filmed.
