Day 1 of our Coast to Coast MTB ride from St. Bees Head in the Lake District to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire.

Following Tim Woodcock's classic Wheelwright's guide route - this guy didn't take the easy option to route planning!

Day 1 was St.Bees Head to Coniston via Black Sail Pass. 40 miles with 6488 ft climbing.
