Subukan Ang Pinagsamang Sarap Ng SAGING AT KAMOTENG KAHOY TRADITIONAL NILUPAK RECIPE
NILUPAK NA SAGING AT KAMOTENG KAHOY
INGREDIENTS:
1 kg. fresh cassava (boiled)
9 pcs. raw bananas (boiled)
1 cup desiccated/grated coconut
3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup margarine/butter
1/2 cup condensed milk
Cheese (grated)
PROCEDURES:
1. Peel the cassava, slice and remove the fibrous thread center. Wash and bring to a boil until soft and tender.
2. Wash and clean the bananas then boil until tender and soft.
3. Drain the boiled cassava.
4. In a DIY mortar and pestle, mash the boiled bananas and cassava.
5. Add white sugar and desiccated/grated coconut, mash properly to combine. Add margarine/butter and condensed milk, mix and continue to mash until smooth and creamy.
6. Transfer into a prepared baking tray with banana leaf liner. Use spatula to evenly spread. Run the tines of a fork on the surface to make decorative lines.
7. Brush and spread softened margarine/butter on top. Cut into servings, grate cheese and sprinkle toasted peanut(optional).
