Kirsty Thomson from JustRight Scotland talks to delegates about why violence against women and girls is as a human rights and equalities issue.
The National Violence Against Women Network hosted a Conference on 1st November 2017 to discuss why ‘Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls is Everyone’s Business’. As part of the conference, speakers highlighted the activities their organisations are undertaking to tackle violence against women and the importance of partnerships working to this agenda.
Coordinated by the Improvement Service, the National Violence Against Women Network aims to improve the capacity and capability of multi-agency VAW Partnerships to implement the ambitions set out in Equally Safe at a local level and to support partnerships to engage effectively with community planning processes.
