Parkinson's Disease is a neural disorder which gradually degenerates the central nervous system. One of the harshest chronic illnesses our society deals with, its symptoms include motor malfunction, tremor, as well as impiared cognitive skills.
The new Deep Brain Stimulation Treatment to cure Parkinson's Disease is described by Prof. Hagai Bergman, of the Dept. of Physiology at the Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical School and Dr. Zvi Israel, of the Dept. of Neurosurgery at Hadassah University Hospital.
