The first day of our 3 day EPIC trip to the Lakes. A nice steady one to ease us into the weekend!
Heading out of Keswick and up towards the Skiddaw House. We added a bit extra on to the route here before turning back and heading onto Lonscale Crag. The views from here are to die for (which sadly, someone did a few years ago😢)
There are places where it's very narrow and very slippery and not ideal when you naturally unclip your foot nearest to the cliff edge!
I wasn't expecting the rapid descent towards the end which made day 1 even more enjoyable followed by a quick lap of the pump track in Keswick.
A well earned pint at the end of the day set the tone for the rest of the trip!
