The defined views command allows users to save and return to specific viewpoints in graphic views. To utilize this feature, navigate to the support tab and select defined views. A panel will appear below the plan and 3D views, where users can create a defined view. By setting the desired layer states using the view filter manager, users can determine which layers and orientations are visible. Clicking 'create' captures a snapshot of the current view, such as the plan view, and users can also apply this to the 3D view. When the dialog box appears, users can name the view, for example, 'overall site,' and confirm by clicking 'okay.' This process creates a view that can be revisited by clicking on it. The feature adjusts layer visibility, orientation, and other settings, allowing users to switch between different view states, such as scan or design views, efficiently. In the 3D scan view, users can also toggle between various orientations, enhancing project navigation and management.
