AP ,TS CMs and President Meets | Governor's Christmas Feast at RajBhavan

Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ESL Narasimhan hosted a dinner in honour of President Ram Nath Kovind at Raj Bhavan on Sunday evening.Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and DGP Mahender Reddy were among those who attended.Former chief minister K Rosaiah, former Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya, BJP State unit president K Lakshman, Congress State president Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan, Ministers, MLAs and MPs of different political parties also took part.President Ram Nath Kovind reached Hyderabad on Sunday for his four- day southern sojourn, the shortest in the recent times. He was received by the Governor and Chief Minister at Hakimpet airport.The Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bolarum in Secunderabad was decked up for the stay of the country’s first citizen and his family. Initially, arrangements were made for a 10-day stay. But, the President’s stay was cut short for only four days in view of the change in itinerary.Security was beefed up in the city and traffic restrictions were imposed on Secunderabad-Bolarum road on the occasion.The President visited the State to address the valedictory function at World Telugu Conference last week.
