Just hours after Prime Minister Modi's national address announcing a 21 days lockdown, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was seen at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday along with nearly 20 officials presiding over rituals. He was present at an early morning ritual to shift the Ram Lalla idol to a temporary new location and hereby clearing the site to allow construction of a Ram temple. After the idol was placed, the chief minister offered special prayers in the presence of Ram Mandir Trust Secretary Champat Rai and a few senior leaders of RSS and VHP. Many are questioning the urgency to conduct to go ahead with ceremony in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
