KNITTED BABY BOOTIES WITHOUT A SINGLE SEAM
#babybooties #knitbabybooties #knittedbootiesnewborn
These booties are knitted in rounds and are made without a single seam. You can wear these booties in at least three different ways. I-cord is optional. You can definitely leave it aside. However, I feel that it complements the colours of the booties and completes the work with a nice little bow.
Merino wool used is very soft and not scratchy. Those qualities make it the perfect material for baby clothes. Knitting with this yarn is easy and fast.
I was using circular netting needles for this project. However, straight needles in a set of 4 or 5 needles can be used too, as well, as short sock needles that are very popular these days.
Size of the sole of a bootie:
8*5cm
Size for a newborn baby.
The size can be adjusted by knitting the longer sole of the bootie (extending the middle part of the sole). And adding additional loops from the sole to the heel part of the bootie.
Materials used:
- 100% Italian merino Wool 125m/50g (Two colours: white milk and pink)
- 100% cotton yarn 125m/50g
Equipment:
- interchangeable knitting needles 2.5mm

- yarn needle
- scissors
- 3 knit markers
