Canada and other countries touched by the tragedy are marking the one-year anniversary of the shooting down of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS-752.
The flight had 176 people on board, when it was shot from the sky by Iran's Revolutionary Guard.
There were no survivors.
Iran initially denied any involvement in the downing of the airliner, then admitted it was shot down by accident after mistaking it for a missile.
