The community was created to honor Jasper “Jay” Newton Wilkinson III, a true-to-tradition pioneer who, along with his family, managed this land for nearly a century. Since his father W.W. Wilkinson’s initially purchased in 1908, Granite Dells Ranch and Point of Rocks Ranch was always managed together with family at its core.
