Two U.S. government-chartered planes carrying Americans who had been quarantined on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan arrived at two separate Air Force bases, with the first landing in California late Sunday and the second in Texas early Monday.

Passengers on board both planes now face a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

According to the State Department, of the more than 300 citizens on board, 14 individuals tested positive for COVID-19, with those passengers being isolated from others during the flight.
