What's daily life in Indonesia like? How is it different from life in New Zealand?

We've had two months to settle into life in Sumatra, and wanted to share the simple aspects of our daily Indonesian life with you guys.

While Indonesian life isn't new to us (Agung was born in Sumatra and Carly stayed here for several years pre-COVID), things look quite different now that we have settled into our home on Samosir Island, Lake Toba, in North Sumatra.

In this vlog, we give you a glimpse into our daily life in Indonesia - from what we eat (delicious Indonesian food and some tasty Western treats!) and how we spend our days to the key differences between life in Indonesia compared to life in NZ.
