From my blog: Canoe Lake is a decent place to go for a day trip, and sometimes the busiest lakes off of Highway 60 are actually underrated because they're overlooked by "serious" fishermen. Would I go camp there for an entire week? No. But if you’re strapped for time and can only afford a quick trip, it's certainly worthwhile.
