Here is an overview of a Kubota BX Series Material Collection System. You'll also hear this referred to as a bagger, bagging system, leaf collector, or any combination thereof. The Kubota bagging system differs from the John Deere version in that the rear PTO is utilized to drive the fan. The fan is what moves material (leaves, clippings, debris) from the mower deck and into the rear mounted bags. John Deere utilizes as belt and pulley system integrated with the mower deck itself. While there's been no prevalent issues with this system, I would much prefer the robustness of a PTO driven system.
