Soon, teachers in Tennessee may not have to leave their guns at home when reporting to work.
A bill allowing Tennessee’s state educators to be armed in the classroom is advancing in the state legislature.
Senate Bill 1325 passed the Senate on Tuesday and is now heading to the House. The legislation gives teachers, principals and school personnel the ability to carry concealed handguns on school grounds.
